2022 has whizzed by, so we thought we’d take stock of some of our achievements over the last year. Read on to find out more…
We can’t believe that it is almost the end of 2022 already! It’s been a busy year for us in the Method Marketing office, so we thought we’d look back over the year as a whole to remind ourselves of all we’ve accomplished.
Towards the end of January we welcomed our new Content Marketing Executive, Claire Price. Claire has brought more than 10 years of content marketing experience into the team and has been busy writing for all of our clients over the last year.
In the summer, we also welcomed Helen Board to the MM team! Helen has taken up a role as our Client Services Manager. Since joining, Helen has gotten to grips with all of our projects and has expertly managed our client relationships. It’s great to have you Helen!
It’s also been great to start working on some new projects this year.
This included content creation for Lignacite Ltd, a sustainable concrete block manufacturer in Suffolk. Since we began working for them, we have helped to produce marketing articles, blog posts, case studies and plenty of new website content.
We also began working with The User Story in 2022, who went on to give us this amazing review (thank you!).
“We have been working closely with Lucy, Helen and the Method Marketing team over the last couple of months and have had nothing but positive experiences. The whole team is passionate, knowledgeable, friendly and extremely efficient. They strike a great balance between responding appropriately within the scope of the brief but also proactive advising on where we can make improvements and lift our content. They instantly understood the objectives of our brief, the main message we were trying to land and the tone of voice we needed to achieve, and expertly navigated a wealth of research and information that could well have overwhelmed anyone else. We would highly recommend the Method Marketing team to anyone looking for expert copywriting and content marketing support!”Sammy Marshall
For 2022, we decided to raise money for Norfolk & Waveney Mind, which provides mental health and well-being support to local people.
To kick-off our fundraising, Lucy ran an impressive 10K during a sweltering heatwave. Sponsors certainly appreciated her efforts and she raised £435! (The post-run ice creams were very well deserved.)
In September, the whole team got their waterproofs and walking boots on for an epic trek as part of the relay for Walking to Prevent Suicide. This saw us tramping along the coast from Lowestoft to Southwold – 13 miles in total!. Thankfully it only rained for the first few miles and then the sun came out to shine on us. We were pretty tired by the time we reached our destination, but we did succeed in raising £332 in the process.
Towards the end of the year, Lucy and Helen also put their general knowledge to the test in Norfolk & Waveney Mind’s Annual Quiz Night. They didn’t win but it’s the taking part that counts… right?
To give our charity efforts a final top-up, Claire and Lucy then donned their festive finery for Christmas Jumper Day in December.
In the summer Lucy delivered a brilliant talk at a meeting for the Norfolk Women’s Marketing Network. She spoke about the importance of trusting your gut when it comes to business decisions, and she got some great feedback from attendees. Well done Lucy!
Towards the end of the year, Lucy then whizzed off to Edinburgh to take part in a panel discussion for the WTWN Forum. This was a great opportunity to discuss the importance of strategic marketing and the impact it can have on insurance businesses.
2022 also saw us celebrating the 4th birthday of Method Marketing. This was a big milestone for the company, so it was nice to raise a toast to the agency!
It’s great to look back on all we have done over the year, but we are even more excited about 2023! If you’d like to talk to us about your content marketing needs next year, please get in touch.
