The Background

Hatch Brenner has a small team managing its marketing activities across an array of disciplines, including events, sponsorship and advertising.

However, in today’s hyper-connected world, there are often more channels for a small team to manage. As such, Hatch Brenner engaged Method Marketing to provide content marketing support, with the main aim of ranking in top positions for key local search terms.

The Solution

At the outset, Method Marketing conducted a content marketing audit to identify opportunities and set benchmarks.

From there, a process of search engine optimisation began, adding keywords and phrases to the website. Backlinks were also secured to boost the profile of the client’s website.

Social media activity was supported along the way. Method Marketing wrote and scheduled updates for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, and managed accounts while the marketing manager was on holiday. 

The Results

Improvements in search engine performance were seen within six months.

Most notably, the site reached position 1 for a competitive local search term, which was supported by a jump to positions 2 and 3 for related terms.

As a result, organic search visibility increased by 18% and organic traffic increased by 6%.
